Meeting engaged couples and going through marriage preparation with them is a blast!  How else can I say it? It's fun, stimulating, inspiring, and it keeps us in the alive zone. Most of the couples are in their twenties or early thirties (although we have had some in their forties.) No matter what the age, couples who are in love are excited and looking forward to their union.   

Mike & Jewel Williamson were premarital mentors and team leaders of the premarital ministry at Calvary Chapel, Boise, Idaho. Together with Ernest Updike, Family Ministry Pastor, and his assistant, Lorna Wainscott, they improved and expanded the premarital ministry. In addition to mentoring pre-marital couples, they held training classes to equip married couples to be premarital disciplers.

Jewel was the leader for the Women's 1 on 1 ministry and has encouraged many women during their struggles to become healed and set free from various issues and situations.

They attend Calvary Chapel SE Portland, Oregon, where they are doing  premarital and marriage mentoring and are reaching out to other fellowships to assist with developing or improving marriage and premarital ministries. Mike and Jewel were married in 1975
